STEP CHANGE PROGRAMME
Following on from various external assessments of Sellafield Ltd’s recent performance, including its handling of the Design Services Alliance (DSA) contracts, Sellafield Ltd asked AXIOM for assistance with the production of an independent review. AXIOM offered the services of an independent Cabinet Office Qualified Auditor.
The Step Change Team was established in December 2014 following this external review of the relationship between Sellafield Ltd Operations Division and AXIOM within the DSA arrangement, based on the national Major Projects Delivery Confidence Assessment. The team has a specific brief to take forward the 28 recommendations set out in the report within a timescale of 12 months. The recommendations centre around delivering organisational change under the following headings:
