SUPPLY CHAIN
AXIOM as part of the Design Services Alliance (DSA) is responsible for the Production Operations areas of work. Spent Fuel Management (SFM), Major Projects and Infrastructure, Waste and Effluent Disposition (WED) and Safety Case work.
The DSA is an integral part of the Sellafield Ltd over-arching acquisition strategy (OAAS). It is the vehicle to secure design, engineering, and safety case assessment services to enable delivery of projects and tasks supporting accelerated hazard reduction. It is fundamental to delivering the Sellafield Ltd mission and will be a long term, collaborative value-driven relationship with supply chain partners.
Supplier relationship management (SRM) is the systematic, enterprise-wide assessment of suppliers assets and capabilities with respect to overall business strategy, determination of what activities to engage in with different suppliers, and planning and execution of all interactions with suppliers, in a coordinated approach across the relationship life cycle, to maximise the value realised through those interactions.
